I am currently a first year Master of Architecture (Professional) student at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. 

 

Born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1993, my family moved to New Zealand in 1995 when I was 1 year old. I have chosen to speak Mandarin Chinese when at home so as to not forget my cultural heritage. As such I have an excellent grasp of both English and Chinese. I have also involved myself in various non-profit organisations throughout my university life in order to enrich my experience and the lives of others.

 

A large part of my involvement has been facilitating in exchange organisations that send tertiary students for overseas work and volunteering opportunities. This stems from my personal passion for travel and experiencing the world. I believe helping others to do so is also an extension of my own core values.
